becausehe (i.e., human being) sees (i.e., considers) himselfself-sufficient
That he sees himself self-sufficient.
whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient
That he thinketh himself independent
In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient
once they think they are self-sufficient.
because he sees himself self-sufficient.
because he thinks himself self-sufficient
Because he sees himself free from want
He considered himself self-sufficient.
for he considers he is self-sufficient.
because it considers itself self-sufficient,
in that he considers himself beyond need
When he sees himself as self-sufficient.
When he considers himself exempt
as he noticed himself that he has attained self-sufficiency (in all provisions)
in thinking himself to be self-sufficient
That he sees himself becoming self-sufficient
because he thinks that he is independent
because he deems himself to be free of need
(And) in that he looks upon himself as self-sufficient. (Forgetting how indebted he is to the Creator and the society for all his mental and physical possessions)
For, he thinks he is independent
And he considers himself as self-sufficient
Because he sees himself self-sufficient
When he achieves, he has no need
when he thinks he is self-sufficient
As he bethinkest himself selfsufficient
For he thinks he is sufficient in himself
seeing himself as self-sufficient.
In that he sees himself as self-sufficient, independent (of his Lord)
when he considers himself without need
In that he thinks himself independent (or self-sufficient or rich)
if he sees himself as having no need.
When he looks upon himself as self-sufficient
considering themselves to be self-sufficient.
for he believes himself to be self-sufficient
When he achieves, he no longer has need
As he sees himself independent of any divine help
Because, he thought himself self-sufficient.
When he becomes rich
that he sees himself sufficed
Because he looks upon himself as self-sufficient
That (E) he saw/understood him(self), he enriched/sufficed (himself)
… thinks that he is not in need of his Lord and that he has power to do everything
As he considers himself independent
Because he thinks himself to be independent
For the reason that (apparently) he finds himself self-sufficient (in the world)
Because he thinks himself to be independent (of God)
Because he considers himself self-sufficient
for he thinks himself self-sufficient
because he seeth himself abound in riches
at seeing himself get rich
Because he seeth himself possessed of riches
in thinking himself his own master:²
Because he has seen himself to be self-sufficient.
When he sees himself self-sufficient.
When he considers himself independent,
for he sees himself self-sufficient.
[Humanity] looks upon itself as independent.
for he considers he is self-sufficient.
Because he saw himself self-availed.
once he thinks himself self- sufficient.
in regarding itself as self-sufficient:
Because he sees himself as self-sufficient (the veil of his ego makes him think he is not in need of the reality).
he thinks that he needs no help (from Allah)
He believes he is independent and not contingent or conditioned by anything else
because he sees himself independent.
That he saw himself free of need.
In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient
That he sees himself self-sufficient
